Having scouted the Pacific Northwest in professional baseball for over 30 years, I’ve personally experienced the importance of Baseball Northwest - not only  to the players in the region - but to travel teams, college coaches, and professional scouts all over the country. BBNW’s camps and tournaments have opened doors for young players to showcase their talent in front of scouts and recruiters. They bring regional players together to match up their talents w/ players from their own area.They give players an opportunity to travel to national tournaments to be showcased all over the country.

The number of players that have been given the opportunity to extend their careers through Baseball Northwest is second to none throughout the country. This is in part to Jeff McKay, a legendary scout in his own right, and his vision to start Baseball Northwest, and the succeeding dedication of Josh Warner and his staff. The opportunities provided through BBNW have been a huge part for thousands of Northwest athletes playing baseball beyond HS. The Top Prospect Lists that BBNW creates, also give coaches and scouts not only an idea where the talent lies, but also the ability to contact the players in the recruiting process.
